Associate Attorney

Our growing practice is seeking an associate attorney with 1 to 6 years of experience to work in our Bergen County, New Jersey office. Must be admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. Job Requirements:
1-6 years litigation experience.
Must be admitted in both New Jersey and New York.
Solid writing and communication skills required.
Ability to work independently and remotely is required.

Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Our firm is looking for a full-time legal assistant or paralegal to work in its Bergen County office. Strong organizations skills are necessary, and the applicant must have excellent phone manner and calendaring skills. Must have experience in civil litigation practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as a working knowledge of court procedures. Experience in civil defense (premises liability/auto and trucking litigation is a plus). Qualified candidates will be offered a competitive compensation package commensurate with their experience level including paid time off and health insurance.

Job Duties Include:

  • Review and analysis of documents and relevant case information.

  • Preparation of legal documents, including pleadings and discovery materials.

  • Preparation of trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness lists.

  • Management of files and documents.

  • ​​Coordinate and correspond with other members of the firm, clients, law firms, and courts.
